Bengaluru woman shares nearly 3-hour Electronic City to Whitefield commute, highlights road woes, netizens react

A Bengaluru woman’s nearly three-hour journey from Electronic City to Whitefield has sparked a discussion on the city’s traffic congestion and road conditions. Nee Yadav, who documented her commute in an autorickshaw and shared it on Instagram, said the experience left her wondering how residents remain motivated to step out of their homes despite the city’s difficult roads and traffic.

In a video shared on Instagram, Yadav recorded parts of her journey and showed viewers the condition of the roads along the route. She said what should have been a routine trip had stretched to almost three hours.

“I am currently going from Electronic City to Whitefield, and it has been almost, almost three hours for me. So, I have taken an auto. And Bengaluru's condition... I don't know how people are motivated to step outside in Bengaluru. And if you will see the condition of Bengaluru roads... this is the condition. This is [near] a convention centre... these are main roads,” she said in the video.

Bengaluru woman highlights road conditions during long commute

As the autorickshaw travelled through the city, Yadav turned her camera towards the roads to highlight the conditions she encountered during the lengthy journey. Her video showed glimpses of the roads as she travelled from Electronic City towards Whitefield.

Sharing the video, she wrote, “I almost stopped stepping out of my house in Bengaluru and this is why!!! Bengaluru traffic is horrible & the roads”.
