Bengaluru pothole 'historical landmark' on Google, people put great reviews

If you can't beat them, have a good laugh about them. That's what people in Bengaluru sought to do as they celebrated a pothole on one of the city roads as a Google Map landmark and wrote glorious reviews about it.

'Abizer's Pothole' in Bellandur area reportedly appeared on Google Maps as a 'historical landmark' with a 5-star rating, and a Twitter user shared screenshots of it on Tuesday.


"In Bangalore, Potholes are landmarked on Google and have reviews," the post said.

The mock reviews that appeared on the page were hilarious

"Very good pothole. Must visit at least once. Guaranteed to hit your chassis in the right places, one review said.

"Top tier pothole, great location close to many grocery stores and all the good schools,' wrote another.

"An amazingly well designed pothole with the right dimensions and location. It takes you down a feet and escalates you above the earth all in the matter of a second," wrote a third person.

"Best pothole I have seen so far. A true back-breaking experience, and also a testing ground for your car suspension," wrote yet another.

After it was shared on Twitter, people there came up with their own set of suggestions.


Later tweets said the location was removed from Google Maps.
