A Bengaluru couple who left high-paying jobs to start a food startup called 'Samosa Singh' is now earning crores of rupees with an annual turnover of ₹45 crores.

Shikhar, a former principal scientist at Biocon, and Nidhi, a former employee of a pharma company in Gurugram with a salary package of ₹30 lahks, decided to take a risk and start their own business. They offer a wide range of samosas with innovative fillings like kadhai paneer samosas.
The idea for the business came to Shikhar during his student days, but Nidhi advised him to become a scientist. Later, when Shikhar saw a boy crying for samosas at a food court, he knew he had to start a samosa business.
The success of Samosa Singh has allowed the couple to plan for expansion. Despite belonging to well-settled families, Nidhi and Shikhar were determined to run their own businesses and have now succeeded in doing so beyond their expectations.
