Bellamkonda Sreenivas reacts to rumours of dating Rashmika Mandanna, here's what he said

South actors Rashmika Mandanna and Bellamkonda Sreenivas have been spending quite some time in Mumbai recently. While Rashmika has already made her Bollywood debut and starred in quite a few Hindi films, Sreenivas will be making his Bollywood debut with the film Chatrapathi.

Rumours of the two actors dating began when they were spotted coming out of the airport together. Rashmika and Sreenivas have travelled together to and fro Mumbai quite a few times. So, fans put two and two together and assumed that they were dating, especially since Rashmika has reportedly broken up with her boyfriend and actor Vijay Deverakonda.

In an interview in Mumbai recently, actor Bellamkonda Sreenivas spoke about rumours of his relationship with Rashmika Mandanna. The actor, who will be seen in his Bollywood debut Chatrapathi soon, got candid with his reply.

Bellamkonda Sreenivas said he is, in fact, not dating Rashmika Mandanna. He said, "I don’t know how it came about. I think it’s absolutely baseless because we were just good friends and we actually bumped (into each other at the airport)."

The actor added that since both of them live in Hyderabad and have to travel to Mumbai often, they keep bumping into each other. "It’s hardly once or twice that the paparazzi have seen us coming out of the airport. That’s about it," he said, refuting the rumours.

Is Bellamkonda Sreenivas fond of Rashmika Mandanna?

However, Sreenivas was quick to praise Rashmika for being a "vibrant person" and "always be that energetic...Whenever she’s in a room, she brings a lot of energy."

"She’s such a vibrant person, I think she shouldn’t lose that," he added.

While Rashmika Mandanna is doing well in Bollywood and will be seen opposite heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s film Animal, Bellamkonda Sreenivas is gearing up for his Hindi debut with Chatrapathi.

Chatrapathi, the official Hindi remake of Prabhas and SS Rajamouli’s 2005 Telugu film of the same name, is directed by VV Vinayak.
