Bellamkonda Sreenivas’ Hindi debut film ‘Chatrapathi’ to hit global screens, know release date

Tollywood star Bellamkonda Sreenivas’ Bollywood debut film, an adaptation of Prabhas’ blockbuster Chatrapathi, was released in July 2021. The film was directed by VV Vinayak, and it has recently made news again.

The film’s producers have stated that it will be released worldwide on May 12, 2023. The producers kept the original title, Chatrapathi, and issued the first look poster.

Sreenivas goes shirtless in this first-look billboard and looks like a beast, showing his chiselled physique. He is pictured standing in the water with a copper bowl in one hand with back injuries. He adorns himself with sacred strands around his neck and on his arm. Sreenivas' character is aggressive, as evidenced by his posture and the furious clouds.


In addition to Sahil Vaid, Amit Nair, Rajendra Gupta, Shivam Patil, Swapnil, Ashish Singh, Mohammad Monajir, Auroshika Dey, Vedika, Jason, and others, Nushrratt Bharuccha plays the female lead in this movie. Production on the movie is already over, and post-production is already under progress.

The remake is written by Rajamouli's father, KV Vijayendra Prasad, who also wrote the original script. Dr. Jayantilal Gada of Pen Studios is producing the film, which will be distributed internationally by Dhaval Jayantilal Gada and Aksshay Jayantilal Gada of Pen Marudhar Cine Entertainment. Tanishk Bagchi composed the film’s music.
