'Beef' makers respond to David Choe's comments on rape, calls it 'extremely disturbing'. Know what happened
Nine years ago, Beef actor made offensive remarks about rape during a podcast. The clip resurfaced recently and caused a stir on the internet.

The creators of Beef have responded to David Choe's controversial comments by issuing an official statement to Variety. They described the story Choe fabricated nine years ago as "undeniably hurtful and extremely disturbing," and made it clear that they do not support or condone such behavior in any way.
However, they acknowledged that Choe had apologized in the past and had worked to receive mental health support over the last decade to improve himself and learn from his mistakes.
David Choe came under fire after he recounted a sexually explicit story about a massage he had received from a massage therapist during an episode of the DVDASA podcast. Following the controversy, Choe denied being a rapist and expressed his frustration at being labeled as one.
He clarified that he viewed the podcast as an extension of his art and storytelling and suggested that he was guilty of nothing more than bad storytelling in a "douchey" style. He also pointed out that his paintings were often misinterpreted in a similar manner.
