BARC NRB Recruitment 2022: Application window open for 89 posts

Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) has released the notification for 2022 NRB Recruitment for 89 posts. These posts are for Grade-III stenographers, drivers, and work assistants. The application will be taken through the official website – www.recruit.barc.gov.in - and the last date for applying is July 31, 2022. The recruitment is announced for the Nuclear Recycle Board (NRB), located in three cities – Mumbai, Tarapur, and Kalpakkam.

As per the official notification, the online application process began on July 1, 2022, and will end on the last day of this month. Following are the vacancy details for BARC NRB Recruitment 2022:

1. Stenographers (Grade-III) – 6 posts
2. Drivers (Ordinary Grade) – 11 posts
3. Work Assistant-A – 72 posts

Interested male candidates from the general category and OBC will have to pay an application fee of Rs. 100. SC, ST, PWD, ex-servicemen, and women candidates are exempt from paying application fees.


Following is the eligibility criteria for the BARC NRB Recruitment 2022:

• Work Assistant – 10th/Matriculation Passed
• Stenographer (Grade-III) – 10th/Matriculation Passed with a minimum of 50% marks, a minimum typing speed of 30 w.p.m. and a minimum English Stenograph speed of 8 w.p.m.
• Driver – 10th/Matriculation Passed with a valid driving license

The salary for the selected candidates for BARC NRB Recruitment 2022 will be as follows:

• Word Assistant-A – Rs. 18,000/- Level 1
• Stenographer (Grade III) – Rs. 25,500/- Level 4
• Driver – Rs. 19,900/- Level 2

BARC will shortlist candidates through multiple selection stages as per the applied posts. These stages include a written exam, skill test, typing test, driving test, document verification, and a common medical examination.
