Baraat beats the rain with tarpaulin, video wins Internet
A viral video on Twitter shows a wedding procession marching towards the venue amid heavy rainfall, albeit covered in a large tarpaulin. The video is from Indore and shows how dedicated Indians are to weddings.

The video has set Twitter on fire, with many users terming it as the ‘video of the season’. According to the user who shared it, the video belongs to Indore, Madhya Pradesh. A user made an apt statement that ‘it happens only in India,’ which is another famous Hindi song.

While most of the baraatis were under the tarpaulin, many skipped it to enjoy dancing in the rain. As per reports, the wedding took place in the Pardesi Pura area of Indore city, on Tuesday.
According to the onlookers, the weather was dry when the procession started, but as monsoons in India are wont to, it began raining heavily out of nowhere. Fascinatingly, instead of stopping the procession and finding a shed, the baraatis ordered a large tarpaulin and covered themselves. The dedication the procession showed is a hilarious testimony to how seriously we Indians take our weddings.
