Monsoons in India have a different charm, and the same was on display in a video doing rounds on the internet. The viral video, shared by Shailendra Yadav from Faridabad, shows a baraat (wedding procession) moving towards the venue. The hilarious part is that the entire procession is covered with a large sheet of tarpaulin, with a music van in front playing the popular dance number, Bolo Tara Rara!

The video has set Twitter on fire, with many users terming it as the ‘video of the season’. According to the user who shared it, the video belongs to Indore, Madhya Pradesh. A user made an apt statement that ‘it happens only in India,’ which is another famous Hindi song.
In weddings in India, people love to dance and enjoy, especially during the baraat. A lot goes into it – expensive clothes, music bands, months of preparation, a lot of dance practice, etc. The rains are notoriously famous for playing spoilsport and disrupt wedding processions.

However, the baraat in Indore, as seen in the video, decided to move ahead and beat the rains. While most of the baraatis were under the tarpaulin, many skipped it to enjoy dancing in the rain. As per reports, the wedding took place in the Pardesi Pura area of Indore city, on Tuesday.

According to the onlookers, the weather was dry when the procession started, but as monsoons in India are wont to, it began raining heavily out of nowhere. Fascinatingly, instead of stopping the procession and finding a shed, the baraatis ordered a large tarpaulin and covered themselves. The dedication the procession showed is a hilarious testimony to how seriously we Indians take our weddings.
