Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2: Know who may replace Kareena Kapoor Khan in the upcoming film alongside Salman Khan

Bajrangi Bhaijaan sequel will feature Pooja Hegde as the lead actress for the film, replacing Kareena Kapoor Khan, reports suggest. It is unclear whether Hegde will play a new character or take over Kapoor's role.

Salman Khan announced, in 2021 that a sequel to his and Kareena Kapoor Khan's movie, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, was in the works. He disclosed that K V Vijayendra Prasad was working on the film's script, which is rumoured to be titled Pawan Putra Bhaijaan. Last year, Vijayendra Prasad confirmed the rumour, that the sequel indeed would be called Pawan Putra Bhaijaan. He also revealed how he presented the idea to Salman, saying, "I have narrated the story outline to Bhai (Salman Khan) and he has loved it.” He added that the timeline is up to Salman to decide.

Interestingly, Salman Khan will be seen with Pooja Hegde in his upcoming film, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, and it appears their on-screen chemistry will continue beyond one movie. Featuring renowned stars such as Venkatesh Daggubati, Jagapathi Babu, Bhumika Chawla, Vijender Singh, Abhimanyu Singh, Raghav Juyal, Siddharth Nigam, and more, the movie is slated to release on Eid 2023.




Salman Khan will also appear in Tiger 3, an action-packed thriller set to release in November 2023. Directed by Maneesh Sharma, the movie will see the return of Salman and Katrina Kaif as spies, as well as Emraan Hashmi in a pivotal role and a cameo appearance by Shah Rukh Khan. Salman recently made an extended cameo in Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan as well.
