Bajaj Auto unveils the 2023 Chetak EV with new features and a higher price tag
Bajaj Auto has introduced a revamped version of the Chetak EV with newer and premium features, and a higher price tag.

According to a recent press release by the company, the Chetak EV has been enhanced with "exquisite detailing and the use of premium materials." Matte Coarse Grey, Matte Caribbean Blue, and Satin Black are among the new colour options available for the scooter.
The new version of the scooter is priced significantly higher than the current Chetak, which is priced at Rs 1,21,933 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru), and Bajaj Auto is already taking bookings for it, with delivery expected by April 2023.
One of the key features of the revamped Chetak includes a large, sophisticated all-colour LCD console that displays vehicle information with improved clarity. In addition to it, Bajaj has added a premium two-toned seat, body-coloured rear view mirrors, satin black grab rail, and matching pillion footrest castings.
Bajaj Auto has also begun the scale-up phase of its electric scooters. The new Chetak will build on the strong work done on their EV supply chain, according to Rakesh Sharma, Executive Director. Sharma expects the new colours and premium features to be game-changing. He believes that Chetak can be positioned as the most aspirational electric scooter.
