Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2: Show to take 20 years leap, Niti Taylor and Ranndeep Rai to play lead roles

‘Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2’ is all set to have Niti Taylor and Ranndeep Rai sharing the screen as the lead characters, as per several reports. The serial is expected to take a leap of 20 years and if rumours are to be believed Nakuul Mehta and Disha Parmar were apprehensive about ageing on-screen, which led to the actors quitting the serial.


The famous TV serial ‘Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2’ is a sequel which originally starred Ram Kapoor as Ram and Sakshi Tanwar as Priya in the lead roles. With the serial taking a generational leap, the viewers might get to see a lot of fresh faces which might include some popular TVactors.



While Taylor had not been seen for quite some time on television, she recently made a grand return on ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 10’. Earlier, there were talks that Taylor might play the role of the on-screen daughter of Ram and Priya, Pihu but the recent reports claim that she will be playing a new character.

Taylor believes that for her the life has come full circle as she played a supporting role in the first season and now she will be playing a lead role in this season.


Hiten Tejwani is also expected to be seen in this season of Bade Acche Lagte Hain. Tejwani became a prominent television face after his role of Dr. Anant in Balika Vadhu. Later, he entered the house of Bigg Boss in the 11th edition as a celebrity contestant.

He opened up about entering the show midway and said that it was natural to feel the pressure but his intention would be to do justice to the role and give his best.


Nakul Mehta believes that this season of the hit serial has now received the love from the viewers as people had doubts initially because it was a remake of an iconic serial.


Bade Acche Lagte Hain, which is produced by Ekta Kapoor, had its first season running from 2011 to 2014. The second season first premiered on August 30, 2021.
