With the Backstreet Boys concert in India just around the corner, the country is buzzing with excitement over the band's past performances.

They are on a world tour, named Backstreet Boys: DNA World Tour, with stops set at India's two cities - Mumbai and Delhi. The event is set to take place on May 4 and 5 at Mumbai's Jio World Gardens and Delhi's JLN Stadium, respectively. Furthermore, the tour begins May 1 in Egypt and goes all through South Africa.
A report from Free Press Journal writes about how the world is all of a sudden turning heads to the 90s pop culture - with chunky sneakers, and oversized denim jackets - setting moods for a grunge and neon.
It points out that during the 90s, when Backstreet Boys became famous or their songs became "viral", the publication recalls that it referred to a medicinal term during that era. But, time changes.
Putting light on the contemporary world, the BSB is getting a lot of attention from influencers, with several influencers who capture and post short 1-minute videos on Instagram's reel, taking part and repopularising the songs and memories.
Shuchika Joshi and Harsh Nayyar recently posted a video on BSB's romantic single "As Long As You Love Me" and those who remember this track are already in seventh sky. Watch it:
Furthermore, fashion influencer Kavya Khurrana posted a similar reel writing that she heard the BSB are coming to India, and asked who is going for it.
BSB's DNA World Tour is scheduled to commence on May 1 in Egypt, with subsequent stops planned in various locations including the United Arab Emirates, India, Bahrain, Israel, Saudi Arabia and South Africa.
