Baba Vanga had predicted your mobile phone addiction, and another pandemic in 2022!

Baba Vanga, popularly known as the Nostradamus of the Balkans, was famous for predicting several events correctly such as the Chernobyl disaster, the dissolution of the Soviet Union, and the death of Princess Diana. Although she passed away in 1996, several people still believe that her prophecies are taking place precisely as she had predicted.

She had earlier said that people in 2022 would spend more time on screens than ever, and going by the current mobile phone addictions across age groups and geographies, it is not that hard to believe. Another prediction of Baba Vanga is not good news either.

She had predicted that there will be a pandemic which would occur due to a frozen virus. The virus, she had prophesized, will be found in Siberia and take birth due to climate change. That would mean another pandemic other than the current crisis caused by the Covid-19 virus!


Incidentally, in July 2021, a team of researchers found two ice samples from the Tibetan Plateau that contained ancient viruses, which were never seen before. According to researchers, the ice cores went into the frozen state at least 14,400 years ago.

The researchers discovered around 33 viral genetic codes in the ice cores. Besides, 4 of the 33 genetic codes belonged to those virus families that usually attack bacteria. The remaining 28 viral genetic codes had never been found previously.

According to the predictions made by Baba Vanga, many nations will face water shortages, compelling them to look out for alternatives which will impact politics as well. She had also predicted that planet-invading aliens would send asteroids to search for life on Earth with hostility.

Her predictions include Earth's orbit change in 2023, Muslim rule in Europe in 2043, and the end of the universe in 5079.
