Power Failure Disrupts AIAPGET Exam
According to candidates, the power supply failed several times during the examination, with one outage lasting around 20 minutes. Several computer systems reportedly stopped functioning.Candidates said the invigilator informed them that the problem had been caused by a short circuit and assured them that electricity would return shortly. However, when the power was not restored for some time, candidates left the examination centre and protested.
One candidate said: "There was power outage multiple times and there was no backup. During this, some candidates started talking and some came out. I was asked to sit in front of the computer even if it was not working. How could I sit when the computer was not working,"
Candidates Allege Copying During Disruption
Some examinees alleged that the disruption allowed certain candidates to communicate with one another and engage in copying. They claimed that some students were talking among themselves while the examination systems were not functioning and alleged that the activity occurred in the presence of the centre observer.
Centre Observer Cites Technical Fault
The centre observer acknowledged that backup power could not be arranged during the outage because of a technical problem. He said a report detailing the incident would be submitted to the National Testing Agency (NTA).
The NTA later attributed the power failure to Eduquity Career Technologies Private Limited, the agency responsible for conducting the examination at the centre.
NTA Announces Re-Examination for Affected Candidates

A re-examination will be conducted on September 1 at Rajasthan College of Engineering for Women in Jaipur for the affected candidates. The NTA conducts AIAPGET for admission to postgraduate MD, MS and PG Diploma programmes in traditional Indian medicine and homoeopathy systems.
