Avatar 2 or Avatar: The Way Of Water, a James Cameroon movie has swept over the box office in India by grossing Rs 41 crore on just the second day of its release. With this, the movie has broken several box office records of iconic Hollywood movies like Spider-Man: No Way Home, Avengers: Infinity War, and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness'.

The movie that has released on 16th December has performed exceptionally well mainly in the South Indian market. Audiences and fans in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Karnataka have loved the movie massively and it has received numerous delighting reviews. These states have together grossed Rs 22 crore in 2 days at the box office. The Avenger 2 is still behind some of the blockbusters including Avengers: Endgame.

The visual effects(VFX), and spectacles in the movie in particular have delighted and mesmerised the South Indian audience. Fans have loved the much-hyped storytelling in the movie as much. A good part of the movie is shot underwater which is beautifully projected through these effects.
