Asur Season 2 to premiere on Jio Cinema soon; Everything you need to know about the lastest season

The second season of the thriller series Asur is all set to premiere soon on Jio Cinemas and this season will be headlined by actors, Barun Sobti and Arshad Warsi among others.

The first season which aired in 2020 was full of mystery, mythology, and thrill with a dash of horror had fans at the edge of their seats when it ended on a cliffhanger. The first season was co-written by Gaurav Shukla, Niren Bhatt, Abhijeet Khuman and Pranay Patwardhan and was directed by Oni Sen.

Fans have waited for over two years for the return of the second season and now that it's back, here is all the you need to know about the latest season.


OTT release date

The acclaimed Hindi-language crime thriller web series, will premier on 1st June. The first look promo of the second season was released on 24th May and it offers a sneak peek into the upcoming story line with the marvels of mythology and the genius of forensic science colliding to create an unmissable viewing experience.

The first look was captioned as “SHIGHRA HI MULAQAT HOGI. Get ready to embrace your dark side as ASUR returns.”

Where to watch?

Ditching its old streaming platform Voot, Asur 2 will be marking its presence on Jio Cinemas soon. The first look which was just dropped by the makers captures Arshad Warsi in an intense situation where he can be seen pointing the gun at someone saying “Tujhe apne bhagwan ko jawaab dena hai, mujhe kisi ko nahi”. The video manages to deliver plenty of goosebumps in its 1 minute long duration while maintaining the suspense, chill and thrill to witness the whole.
