Voting for these elections took place in April, with Assam, Kerala and Puducherry going to the polls on April 9, Tamil Nadu on April 23, and West Bengal in two phases on April 23 and April 29. West Bengal registered the highest voter turnout, crossing 92% across both phases, while Assam recorded a strong participation of 85.38%. Tamil Nadu saw a turnout of 84.69%, followed by Kerala at 79.63% and Puducherry at 89.87%.
