As per ANI report, Suranjan visited a TVS showroom near his locality last Saturday and expressed his desire to buy the bike to the showroom employees by depositing the downpayment of Rs 50,000 in coins.
In a unusual incident, a small merchant in Assam recently made news by paying Rs 50,000 in coins to fulfill his dream of having a bike. Suranjan Roy - a resident of Ramkrishna Nagar area of Karimganj district in Assam - bought his dream bike by paying Rs 50,000 in coins he saved in recent years.

As per ANI report, Suranjan visited a TVS showroom near his locality last Saturday and expressed his desire to buy the bike to the showroom employees by depositing the downpayment of Rs 50,000 in coins.



"He came to our showroom on Saturday evening. As per his wish, we showed him Apache 160 4V bike. After seeing the bike, the man told us that, he had Rs 50,000 of coins and he wants to buy the bike in finance by depositing the amount as a downpayment," Barnali Paul, staff of the showroom said.

"Firstly we were shocked after having seen the sack full of coins but later, we discussed with our owner and decided to deliver the bike to the man," the employee added.

According to Suranjan Roy, he saved the coins for the past few years for the only purpose of buying his dream bike.

This is not the first time when someone has tried making payments in a such large number of coins while buying a vehicle.

Recently, another buyer in Rudrapur, Uttarakhand also paid Rs 50,000 in Rs 10 coins for paying the downpayment of a new TVS Jupiter.

The person came with 5,000 coins of Rs 10 each for making a total payment of Rs 50,000, post which the representative at the authorized TVS showroom started counting those coins. A video of the entire incident of Rs 10 coins stacked in bundles and the representative counting them went gone viral on social media.
