Assam Higher Secondary Education Council Examination results expected this week

The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council Examination results are expected within this week. However, the authorities have not disclosed the date of the results.

Around 2.50 lakh students appeared for Higher Secondary examinations in Assam in 2022

The results would be released online at www.ahsec.assam.gov.in. Students would be able to access their results on the official portal www.resultsassam.nic.in.


Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma is expected to announce the date of the results at a press conference soon.

The students would require their Admit card, which was issued at the time of the examination. The roll number and other details mentioned in the admit card would be required to be filled in to view their results.

The students are advised to take a print of their results for future use.

As of 2021, Assam has upgraded 3,000 High schools (up to class 10) to Senior Secondary schools (Class 12). This is with a view to developing the education sector to a much better level, where senior teachers would be enrolled in teaching the curriculum.

Following up on this upgrade, more universities would be commissioned in Assam in near future. The new Education Policy of Assam was reviewed and reinstated by Himanta Biswa Sharma in 2021.
