Star batter Virat Kohli did not exactly achieve the return to form he was hoping for against Pakistan in India's Asia Cup 2022 opener, but he is leaving no stone unturned to gear up for the next clash.

Kohli, who returned to the India side after a month-long break in which he did not even pick up a cricket bat, topscored with 35 off 34 balls but the innings was patchy by his glorious standards.

Kohli was dropped at third slip off bdebutant pace bowler Naseem Shah before he opened his account, steadied himself to play some rousing shots, and then, when he looked set for a big one, tamely chipped the ball to long-off off the bowling pof Mohammad Nawaz.

It was Kohli's 100th one day international, and he became the only player from India to play 100 matches each across all three formats.

The former India skipper on Tuesday shared pictures from his workout session on social media app Koo and on Instagram as he geared up for the Hong Kong match.

India will now lock horns with Hong Kong on Wednesday while Pakistan will face Hong Kong on Friday.
