Ashneer Grover has picked out several problems and obstructions he has been facing while using the DigiYatra application and several other users stand in agreement.

Ashneer Grover, the co-founder of BharatPe, took to Twitter and mentioned the problems he faced while using the DigiYatra mobile application. He said that the application posed several problems after its recent update. Furthermore, he even gave specific tips to the other users of this application.

His tweet said that the DigiYatra application won't work after the installation of its new update. He specifically mentioned that users won't be able to share their uploaded boarding pass on the application once they have updated the app. He then recommended that users should reinstall and re-register the application and then upload their respective boarding passes on the application.


The former Shark Tank India judge even tagged Civil Aviation Minister, Jyotiraditya Scindia, to amplify his concern. Several users stood in agreement with whatever Ashneer Grover had to put forth. One such user also narrated the story of his fair share of struggle while using the DigiYatra mobile application. Even the CEO of Jet Airways, Sanjiv Kapoor, voiced his concerns regarding the glitches and problems that occur in the DigiYatra application.



The Government of India created DigiYatra to provide travellers with a hassle-free travel and airport experience. Travellers can download the DigiYatra app for Android and iOS and register using their ID and smartphone photos. Users must complete a one-time registration procedure on the "DigiYatra" app, which involves a self-image capture and Aadhar-based validation, in order to utilise this service.

When one buys tickets, they will be given a Digi Yatra ID, which they must share. This ID, as well as the passenger information, will be sent by the airlines to the departure airport. The system will recognise the passenger as they pass through the airport by capturing their face, and they will be allowed to enter without presenting any identification.
