As floods hit, Bengaluru man set up desktop in a coffee shop

The picture of a man working at a desktop placed inside a cafe in Bengaluru is now going viral on social media.

People seated inside coffee houses or restaurants and working on their laptops is not an uncommon sight in many cities, but this man in this picture going viral on social media is taking it to a different level.

The man is seen in the picture at a desktop placed inside a cafe in Bengaluru, with the Twitter user who shared it saying he was part of a group working out of the place because their office was flooded in the recent heavy rains.

"I just saw a group working from the Third Wave Coffee with a full-fledged desktop setup because their offices are flooded," wrote Sanket Sahu.

The picture was posted on September 7, on a day many parts of the city were flooded and most employees in the tech city were struggling to reach office.

Many people saw the funnier side of it

"It would have been understandable if used monitor as an external screen along with laptop.. But man he got the entire CPU stuff along," commented a user.

"Biggest irony would be if they are working on smart city solutions," said another.

Others felt this was carrying things a bit too far.

"Hustle or war room is not a pitstop rather a pitfall of startup culture. Nothing beats WFH," said one

"Too much Bangalore 100% hardworkers," commented another.
