Arvind Kejriwal asks Delhi LG VK Saxena to 'chill a bit'

Arvind Kejriwal said he has never received as many "scoldings" or "love letters" from his wife he is getting from LG VK Saxena .

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday advised Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena to chill a bit aand go easy on his "scoldings" and "love letters".

In a tweet on Thursday evening, Kejriwal, tongue firmly in cheek, said he has never received as many "scoldings" or "love letters" from his wife he is getting from the LG.

"Even my wife has not scolded me as much as LG sahab scolds me everyday. My wife has not written as many "love letters" to me in my entire life as many as LG sahab has in the last six months," Kejriwal said.

"LG sahib, chill a bit!" Kejriwal said in his tweet in Hindi.

He also took another swipe at Saxena, indicating that he was on confontational course with his government at the bidding of a "super boss". "And ask your super boss also to chill a bit," he said.

Kejriwal's remarks came days after Saxena in a letter accused him of showing "utter disregard" towards the commemoration of the birth anniversaries of Mahatma Gandhi and former prime minister Lal Bahadur Shastri by not attending events at Raj Ghat and Vijay Ghat.
