Ahead of the high-octane India vs Pakistan match, Indian pacer Arshdeep Singh ensured the team's arrival in Colombo was memorable for more than just cricket. As traditional dancers performed at the airport to welcome the squad, Arshdeep decided to give in to the rhythm, channelling Akshaye Khanna’s iconic character from the movie Dhurandhaar. His energetic steps, reminiscent of the viral "Rahman Dakait" trend, quickly went viral on social media. While most of the team watched with smiles, Axar Patel, standing right next to him, couldn't contain his laughter at the pacer’s unexpected performance.

Team India’s Arrival in Colombo

The Indian contingent arrived in the Sri Lankan capital late Friday night following their recent victory over Namibia. Head coach Gautam Gambhir was seen leading the way, looking focused as the team prepares to maintain their perfect record in the tournament. In a positive sign for the batting lineup, young opener Abhishek Sharma was spotted smiling and in good spirits alongside Jasprit Bumrah, having reportedly recovered from a recent bout of stomach infection that had sparked concerns over his availability. Star all-rounder Hardik Pandya was also seen arriving with the group as the team shifted base for the tournament's most prestigious group-stage fixture.

India vs Pakistan Match Rain Threat

As the T20 World Cup 2026 moves to the Premadasa Stadium, the clash between arch-rivals India and Pakistan is expected to determine the leader of Group A. Arshdeep Singh enters this match in peak form, having already claimed three wickets in the tournament so far. Historically, he has been a thorn for Pakistan, boasting seven wickets in just four T20I encounters against them. However, fans remain on edge as local weather reports suggest a potential rain threat for the Sunday afternoon game, which could play a crucial role in the playing XI and toss decisions.
