Ratan Tata, the veteran entrepreneur and philanthropist, turned 85 on Wednesday, December 28, as greetings flooded in from all around India. Arjun Deshpande, a 20-year-old energetic entrepreneur, was among those wishing Tata well.

Deshpande recorded an emotional birthday message for his ‘mentor’, clutching Tata's hand, and made a public demand that the Indian government bestow the business magnate with the ‘Bharat Ratna’, India's highest civilian honor.

Deshpande stated, “I feel quite privileged to be working with him on health and social responsibility”. “Whenever I meet him, he constantly asks about my health and my startup”. “He is a live example of how entrepreneurship can bring about a real transformation in a huge portion of the community”, he continued, making the demand that the government should “award Bharat Ratna to Ratan Sir”!

Arjun Deshpande, 20, has been dubbed as the “Robin Hood of Indian Pharma” and is one of India's youngest entrepreneurs. When other adolescents are absorbed in innocent adolescent activities, Arjun chose to create a huge transformation in the structure of the medication business by founding Generic Aadhaar at the age of 16.

He urged Ratan Tata to join his revolution and invest in the firm in 2018. While most huge pharmaceutical companies provide maximum savings of 10-15% on their drugs, Deshpande's Generic Aadhaar offers up to 80% off WHO-GMP approved pharmaceuticals. His stated goal is to make India a “expensive medication mukt nation” by 2025.

The majority of users backed Ratan Tata's request for the ‘Bharat Ratna’. Ratan Tata received the Padma Bhushan in 2000 and the Padma Vibhushan in 2008. A public interest case was also launched in the Delhi High Court, requesting that he be awarded the Bharat Ratna.
