Archana Puran Singh’s son Ayushmann Sethi reveals how his relationship with Samiksha Shetty began, why they initially wanted to stay friends and how they decided to live together

Archana Puran Singh’s younger son, Ayushmann Sethi, recently shared a new YouTube video discussing his relationship with girlfriend Samiksha Shetty. The couple opened up about how their story began with an agreement to remain friends, how they stood by each other during difficult times and eventually decided to live together.

Samiksha Shetty recalls how her relationship with Ayushmann Sethi began

Samiksha Shetty revealed that she and Ayushmann Sethi initially wanted to keep their equation casual and had agreed against pursuing a serious relationship. Recalling their understanding, she said, “We had decided, we’ll keep it meeting, but serious bilkul nahi hona hai, relationship nahi chahiye hum dono ko. Let’s just be friends.”


However, things gradually changed when Samiksha fell ill and began experiencing severe joint pain. She recalled how her condition affected even basic daily activities and how Ayushmann supported her during that period. Describing her difficulties, she said, “Mujhe khaana khaane nahi ho raha tha, plate pakadna nahi ho raha tha, kyunki sab joints bahut dukhte hain” (I couldn’t eat properly or hold a plate because all my joints were hurting).

What made Samiksha fall in love with Ayushmann Sethi?

Samiksha revealed that Ayushmann’s sweet and mature nature caught her attention during their initial interactions. She was particularly impressed by the way he spoke about her, her yoga studio and life in general. His communication style and thoughtful approach gradually helped her develop a positive impression of him.

Ayushmann Sethi and Samiksha Shetty revisit their first trip together

The couple also looked back on their first holiday together, which took them to Paris and Portugal. Samiksha described the trip as an enjoyable experience, recalling how they danced, explored different places and made lasting memories.

While in Paris, they also participated in the popular tradition of placing a lock bearing their names on a fence. Samiksha fondly recalled how Ayushmann helped her climb the stairs during their trip. She highlighted these thoughtful gestures as some of the little moments that made their holiday special.

How Samiksha’s search for a new home led to their decision to live together

Samiksha explained that she had been sharing a flat in Bandra with a close friend until her flatmate decided to relocate to Delhi. This prompted her to start looking for another place to live.

Initially, she considered renting a one- or two-bedroom apartment in Bandra, Khar or Juhu. However, she also thought about moving to Andheri, which would allow her to stay closer to Ayushmann. Her search for a suitable home eventually opened up a conversation about taking their relationship to the next level.

Why Ayushmann Sethi was hesitant to leave his family home

Ayushmann admitted that he had begun wondering why they should wait another year before deciding to live together. Despite this, he was initially hesitant to move out of his family home, as he wanted to continue living with his grandmother, who was approximately 95 or 96 years old at the time.

Eventually, he gathered the courage to ask Samiksha if she would be comfortable moving into his family home and living alongside his family.
