APTET 2022 admit cards releasing today: All you need to know

Admit cards for the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET-August, 2022) are expected to be released on Tuesday.

The Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET-August, 2022) will be conducted by the Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh in all districts through a Computer Based Test. "The objective of TET is to ensure National Standards and benchmark of Teacher quality in the recruitment process in accordance with the National Council for Teacher Education(NCTE)," the state education department had said in a notification released earlier.

Selected candidates will be posted as teachers in State Government, Mandal Parishad, Zilla Parishad, Municipality, Private Aided Schools and Private un-aided schools under the jurisdiction of Andhra Pradesh state for classes I to VIII.


The minimum qualification includes a pass in Teacher Eligibility Test (TET).

The candidates who intend to be teachers for classes I to V have to appear for Paper-I (A).The candidates intending to be teachers for classes VI to VIII and Language Pandits for VI-VIII have to appear for paper-II (A). The candidates who intend to be teachers for classes I to V in Special Education have to appear for the examination under Paper I (B); and the candidates who intend to be teachers for classes VI to VIII in respect of Special Education have to appear for paper II(B). The candidates who intends to be teachers for all classes from I to VIII can appear for all papers, i.e. Paper-I (A) &(B), Paper-II (A) & (B), as per requisite qualifications.

APTET exams will be conducted from August 6 to 21.
