Apple Releases iOS 16.1 version: All You Need to Know
Apple has launched a new iOS 16.1 update. Here's all you need to know about the update.

Battery Percentage
Apple re-introduced the battery percentage feature with the iOS 16 launch. However, at the time, the feature was brought only for iPhone 12 and above. With the new update, the battery percentage now arrives for iPhone XR, iPhone 11, iPhone 12 Mini, and iPhone 13 Mini. The new update will also cause the battery percentage indicator to diminish with usage.
Shared iCloud Library
The new iOS 16.1 update allows sharing files with your dear ones easier. Apple will now allow six users to share a single photo library via the Shared iCloud Library feature.
Live Activities
The iOS 16.1 update brings "Live Activities." The new feature displays live activities like your active cab ride, live updates of sports games, or schedule updates of your upcoming flight. Live Activities will be integrated with Dynamic Island.
Delete Wallet App
The new update will allow users to delete the Wallet App from iPhones permanently. Earlier, only the application icon could be removed from the screen.
Clean Energy Charging
The iOS 16.1 version brings a "Clean Energy Charging" option in the battery settings. The feature allows the iPhone to detect and utilize a low-carbon emission charging option when available, though the new feature is only available in the US currently.
