Apple M1 and M2 Mac users can now install Microsoft Windows 11, know more details here
Microsoft is also offering “Windows 365 service” as another option for people to access Windows 11 on an M1 and M2 Mac.

Microsoft has collaborated with Parallels to enable Apple M1 and M2 Mac customers to run Arm versions of Windows 11 Pro and Windows 11 Enterprise in a virtual environment on its platform.
The first is through a cloud PC utilising the “Windows 365 service”, which is a solution geared for businesses that grant access to a computer on a per-user per-month basis. Parallels is another option for running Windows 11 on an Apple M1 or M2 Mac.
Windows 11 Pro and Windows 11 Enterprise may be virtualized on Apple M1 and M2 Macs using Parallels Desktop version 18, according to Microsoft.
Moreover, it appears that apps that require an additional layer of virtualisation, such as Windows Subsystem for Android, Windows Sandbox, and Windows Subsystem for Linux, are not supported. Microsoft has said that games that require DirectX 12 or OpenGL 3.3 or above will not be supported.
While there are alternative virtualization options that allow you to run Windows 11 on a Mac, Parallels is the only one that Apple officially supports.
Reports suggest that this is a significant step forward because Parallels users had no means to run Windows 11 on Apple devices, the ARM version of Windows does have severe limitations that prevent users from running certain programmes, games, and some anti-virus solutions.
