Apple iPhone 16 launch date in India, price, design, camera, specifications: Here is all you should know

Apple is set to unveil its new iPhone 16 at a launch event next week. The iPhone 16 will be introduced alongside three other variants. The new model promises a slimmer design with a capsule-shaped camera module and the latest A18 chip, Apple’s fastest processor. It is also expected to feature improved AI capabilities and enhancements in display, battery life, and thermal management.

iPhone 16 Design and Features The iPhone 16 will feature a modern design with a capsule-shaped camera module that includes vertically arranged primary and ultrawide lenses. A new 'Capture' button is expected to be placed next to the power key, allowing users to take photos or record videos quickly. Additionally, the device may include an 'Action' button for custom functions, a feature previously available only in Pro models.

The phone will have a color-infused glass back and an aluminium body, providing a premium feel and durability. With an IP67 rating, the iPhone 16 can withstand submersion in water up to 6 meters deep for 30 minutes. New color options may include Purple and White.

iPhone 16 Camera The iPhone 16 will sport a dual-camera system, featuring a 48MP primary camera and a 12MP ultrawide lens with a 120-degree field-of-view. The primary camera will include an improved f/2.2 aperture for better low-light performance and sensor-shift OIS to stabilize images and videos. Enhanced post-processing technology will offer advanced noise reduction and HDR performance. The front-facing camera will be 12MP.
