Apple BKC store in Mumbai: See first look ahead of official launch on April 18

Ahead of its official opening on April 18, Apple BKC store in Mumbai offered a sneak peek to media personnel. The highly anticipated new premises will be inaugurated by CEO Tim Cook.

A massive glass facade gives the store a modern and distinctive look. The store boasts a spacious interior with a tall ceiling and pillars at the entrance. It creates an open and inviting atmosphere for the visitors on entering the store.

Not just this, this store also has a sleek and organized layout as the desks are lined up in parallel.


The display of the latest iPhone models is obviously the highlight of the store. These models include the iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14, etc. These smartphones are generally showcased at the front of the store.

A dedicated section for accessories, which caters to Mac, iPhone and other products is present at the first floor of the store.

HomePod and Apple TV+ have an exclusive section, where the diverse range of Apple's product offerings are showcased.

The Apple BKC store looks to provide a seamless and personalized customer experience and has over 100 employees, who collectively speak over 20 languages, a report of Business Today said.

The BKC store is also designed in such a way that it becomes one of the most energy-efficient locations among Apple stores in the world. The store does not use fossil fuels and has a dedicated solar array. It runs completely on renewable energy and is carbon neutral.

The unique ceiling design of the store is one of its standout features. It reflects the distinctive geometry of the store and is made of wood with a triangular handcrafted texture. The ceiling comprises around 1,000 tiles, and each tile is made from 408 pieces of timber.
