The entrance exam for polytechnic colleges across Andhra Pradesh will be conducted on April 25, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Entry into the examination hall will be permitted only for candidates carrying a printed hall ticket along with a valid photo ID.
How to download the hall ticket online
The admit card will be available exclusively on the official portal. Candidates need to click on the “Print Hall Ticket” link once it is activated. Login can be completed using either the Class 10 hall ticket number and date of birth or the registered mobile number along with the year of passing.
After logging in, candidates can view and download the hall ticket in PDF format. It is advisable to print at least two copies for use on exam day and as a backup.
Details mentioned on the admit card
The hall ticket will carry important information such as the candidate’s name, parents’ names, roll number, category, photograph, signature, exam date, time, and allotted exam centre address. The exam centre once assigned will be final and cannot be changed.
Candidates are advised to carefully verify all details, especially the spelling of their name, clarity of photograph, signature, and exam centre location. Any discrepancies should be reported to the designated helpline centres before the exam date.
Items to carry on exam day
Candidates must bring a printed hall ticket along with any one valid photo ID such as Aadhaar card, school ID, passport, voter ID, or PAN card. Inside the exam hall, only two 2B pencils, erasers, and a transparent water bottle are allowed.
Mobile phones, calculators, written material, bags, and other electronic gadgets are strictly prohibited.
Exam pattern and key dates
The exam will be conducted in offline mode using OMR sheets and will consist of 120 multiple-choice questions from Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. There will be no negative marking.
The results are expected to be declared by May 10, 2026, followed by the counselling process likely to begin in May or June.
