Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli offer prayers at Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli paid a visit to Ujjain's Mahakaleshwar Temple. The two went to the Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga Temple the day after the third Test in Indore ended. Numerous photographs and videos of the pair went popular on social media, showing them seated in the temple with other pilgrims Anushka and Virat, according to reports, also took part in the 'Bhasma Aarti' on the occasion. Bhasma aarti (ash offering) is a well-known ritual there. It takes place during the Brahma Muhurta. The two thereafter went ahead to perform the ‘Jalabhishek’ at the main premises of the temple.

Virat was dressed in a dhoti, while Anushka wore a light peach saree in accordance with the puja's standards.
This year, Anushka and Virat already have toured shrines in Vrindavan and Uttarakhand. They paid a visit to 'Baba Neem Karoli Ashram' in Vrindavan previously, staying for about an hour and receiving 'darshan' of Baba's samadhi' and praying in a 'kutia' (hut). As per reports, they also gave the ashram blankets. Anushka's family respects Baba Neem Karoli. ‘Maa Anandamayi Ashram' was the family’s subsequent destination of worship.
