Anurag Basu unveils a new anthology project with Aditya Roy Kapur and Sara Ali Khan

Anurag Basu and Bhushan Kumar have teamed up once more for their new film Metro... In Dino. Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Ali Fazal, and Fatima Sana Shaikh star in the anthology.

The film, produced by T-Series and Anurag Basu Productions, will include "surreal narratives of interpersonal relationships set in modern times", according to a statement from the producers.

Anurag Basu also directed the critically acclaimed 2007 movie “Life in a... Metro” which stars Irrfan Khan, Konkona Sen Sharma, Kangana Ranaut, Dharmendra, Nafisa Ali, Shilpa Shetty, Kay Kay Menon, Shiney Ahuja, and Sharman Joshi.


Anurag, who most recently helmed the multi-starrer anthology Ludo, characterized Metro... In Dino as a story "by and for the people". Pritam, Anurag Basu's long-time partner, will create the film's soundtrack.

T-Series Chairman and Managing Director Bhushan Kumar claimed only Anurag Basu could weave a tale "out of parallel lives in a film with a modern touch."

"No one could steer this ship better than Anurag Basu. We are thrilled to work with him once more on Metro... Dino. While he creates enchantment with his captivating tale, Pritam will add his charm with the music, completely enriching the experience. We'll be on the lookout for this one," Bhushan Kumar added.
