Anupam Mittal reacts after Twitter user compares Shark Tank India with 'Sasural Simar Ka'

Anupam Mittal of Shark Tank India on January 21 got into a funny Twitter feud. Mittal wondered on Twitter, "Is Twitter the new Quora?" The inquiry elicited a variety of strange responses, one of which got Mittal's attention: "Naah, but Shark Tank is the new Sasural Simar Ka."


Mittal responded to the user "Oh fantastic for you since you clearly watch both,". However, the user did not disagree and acknowledged watching both shows and agreed that he watches both shows as when one watches substandard shows then they realise the worth of quality.



Another user advised Mittal to consider his input, claiming that the show was becoming a sob show. Mittal responded that he thinks as investors they just need to be themselves and need to keep their authenticity and innocence alive. He also mentioned that producers of Sony TV and Shark Tank India are continuously improvising. He ended the Twitter spat by saying "Mere dost, abhi season baaki hai." After his long tweet, a user suggested that the appropriate term was improving not improvising to which Mittal replied in a humorous way "That's why I need an edit button."


Season 2 of Shark Tank India has come under scrutiny following the huge success of the first season. Many people likened it to reality shows such as Indian Idol, believing that the show had a lot of drama in the second season.
