Anupam Kher remembers late friend Satish Kaushik on his birth anniversary

On the birthday anniversary of Satish Kaushik, Anupam Kher hosted a musical night in the memory of his late friend. Several celebrities including Anil Kapoor, Javed Akhtar, Rani Mukherji, Shabana Azmi and Johnny Lever attended the event.

Anupam Kher said that Satish Kaushik was underrated. He spoke about his brilliance, and amazingness and continued to say that (he) never wanted to market himself.

Anupam Kher recently shared his last conversation with the late actor where he advised him to take care of his health. On Anupam Kher's birthday, Satish Kaushik called him. Anupam said you sound very tired, do one thing, go to the hospital, just check in - if you don't want to admit yourself, but the actor replied that don't worry, I am not going to die so soon. But around three hours later, Kaushik passed away.


Actor Shabana Azmi also expressed her condolences and promised to fulfill the late actor's wishes for his daughter Vanshika.

She mentioned how proud he used to be of his daughter's Instagram videos and always wanted to show them off, saying, "See my daughter." Azmi vowed to do everything in her power to ensure that his wishes for his daughter are fulfilled.

Satish Kaushik breathed his last on March 8, 2023, in Gurugram.
