Anubhav Sinha apologises to 'Anek' film crew. Here's why

Director-and-filmmaker Anubhav Sinha recently apologised to 'Anek' crew. He further added that he waste the team's effort, according to reports.

Anubhav Sinha, a filmmaker known for directing movies such as Tum Bin, Dus, Cash, Ra.One, Mulk, Article 15, Thappad, and more, recently apologised to the crew members involved in his latest film, 'Anek'. The film, which starred Ayushmann Khurrana and Andrea Kevichüsa and was set in the north-eastern region of India, failed to attract a significant audience in cinemas, according to reports.

Sinha admitted that only a small portion, about 20 per cent, of viewers grasped the intended message of the political thriller.

In an interview, Sinha took responsibility for the situation and acknowledged that he was to blame for not conveying the film's message effectively. Sinha expressed his regret to all of the crew members involved in the film and stated that he felt he had squandered their hard work.

While the trailer received positive feedback, the audience could not connect with the characters during the film's runtime. According to Sinha, viewers did not empathize with the characters or understand their struggles.

Following Anek, Anubhav Sinha directed 'Bheed', a movie featuring Rajkummar Rao, Bhumi Pednekar, Ashutosh Rana, Kritika Kamra, Pankaj Kapur, and other notable actors, which is currently being shown in cinemas.
