Warikoo added that he aims to raise Dayanand’s salary to Rs 1 lakh a month in the next five to six years.

In his X post, he wrote, "Need your help, lovely people. I am relinquishing my Axis Vistara Credit Card (I think it’s served its term well) and looking for a good travel credit card. Recommendations please? Annual spends between Rs 20-25 lakhs. I am self-employed and draw a salary of Rs 50 lakh per annum."
He later added that his career began at age 24 with a monthly salary of Rs 14,746. After dropping out of a fully-funded PhD at Michigan State University, he returned to India and joined ISB’s one-year MBA programme, paying Rs 14.5 lakh in fees.
The bold move paid off. He landed a role at AT Kearney on Day 1 of placements with a Rs 12 lakh annual package. Over the next five years, he pushed his compensation to Rs 33 lakh a year.
Today, as a self-employed professional, he earns Rs 50 lakh annually — a figure he reiterated on X while crowdsourcing.
