Anil Sharma confirms 'Gadar 2' release date: All you need to know about Sunny Deol-starrer film

"Gadar: Ek Prem Katha" was a big release when it came in theatres and it's safe to assume that its sequel will possibly make it to this year's big releases. Now, as per filmmaker, the sequel is slated to release on August 11, 2023, which has fuelled the suspense among fans.

There were also reports that the sequel might be postponed, but the clarification from the filmmaker rubbishes all such reports.

Anil Kumar spoke to PinkVilla saying that the film is a sentimental favorite among the people, and therefore, it will be released on August 11, as scheduled. He emphasized that Gadar 2 is not just a movie, but an emotion. The film's team is currently engrossed in post-production and preparing for the release date. While there are speculations about other movies releasing on the same day, Anil Sharma said that they are not concerned about it and are only focused on releasing Gadar 2 on August 11 as planned.
