Andrew Flintoff airlifted to hospital after horrific car accident

Andrew Flintoff, a former England all-rounder, met with a severe car accident in the United Kingdom on Tuesday, December 13 while shooting 'Top Gear,' a BBC show. This tragedy occurred as the cricketer-turned-broadcaster was filming for the programme at Dunsfold Aerodrome in Surrey.

The 45-year-old was immediately airlifted to a nearby hospital. Freddie was injured in an accident at the Top Gear test track this morning with crew medics attending the scene immediately. He was taken to the hospital immediately, according to reports.

He has been presenting Top Gear since 2019. Since then, Flintoff has experienced a number of accidents.


The former England cricketer crashed with a market stand in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, in February 2019.

He also crashed during a drag race in September of that year while filming at Elvington Airfield in Yorkshire, but he was unhurt.
