The long-awaited James Cameron directorial Avatar: The Way of Water was released in theatres on December 16. The victim, named Lakshmireddy Srinu, went to watch the movie Avatar: The Way of Water with Raju, his brother. The two of them went to watch the movie in a theater located in the Peddapuram area of the Kakinada district.

Afterwards, his brother Raju took him to the nearest hospital for a checkup. When doctors checked Srinu’s condition, they declared that he died due to cardiac arrest. They also revealed that he was already suffering from high BP, and there is a possibility that the movie caused severe excitement, which led to a heart attack.
