In yet another Twitter war, Telugu anchor-actor Anasuya Bharadwaj criticised Telugu film superstar Vijay Deverakonda for the 'The' prefix in the name of his upcoming film, Kushi’s poster. Kushi stars Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha in lead roles and as per poster, it will hit theatres on September 1, 2023 in five Indian languages - Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam.

Anasuya Bharadwaj without taking anyone's name, wrote, "Ippude okati chusanu.. “The” na?? Babooooiii!!! Paityam.. enchestam.. antakunda chuskundam" on Twitter. Fans were quick to guess that it is directed towards whom, with one user, writing "The Vijay Devarakonda. The Arjun Reddy".

Anasuya Bharadwaj has been expressing her discontent with Vijay Deverakonda ever since the release of Arjun Reddy, which popularised the use of vulgar language. On multiple occasions, she has condemned him through social media.

Some fans resorted to derogatory comments about her personal life and movies, and referred to her as "aunty". Anasuya responded with another tweet, where she shared a screenshot of a fan, who had hurled abuse at her. She expressed her pride in the influence she has created, despite not knowing many of her extended family's page admins.
