Anand Mahindra shares video of man making idlis; tweet goes viral

Industralist Anand Mahindra recently shared a video of main making idlis on a mass scale. His procedure will definitely leave you shocked. Known to keeping his twitter followers engaged, the Chairman of Mahindra Group always shares posts from which one can take important life lessons or share the talents of individuals in country.

“On the one hand you have ‘Idli-Amma’ who makes her Idlis laboriously & slowly. On the other, you have some tools of mass-manufacturing used to make Idlis at scale! But don’t miss the human touch that will ALWAYS be Indian: the short break taken to share some ‘idli-love’ with the bovine member of the family!” Mahindra wrote in the caption.




The video starts with a man preparing the idli batter and preparing the moulds. As the video proceeds, he is seen adding the batter to the mould and swiftly puts it on steam. Then he is seen unmoulding the idlis, and feeding some to a cow as well.

The video has 1.1 million views so far. Many enquired about the shop and how they were eager to taste the idlis.
This is not the first time Anand Mahindra has shared something like this. Recently, he shared a video of a woman making ice-cream using fan.

"Where there’s a will, there’s a way. Hand-made & Fan-made ice cream. Only in India," he tweeted.



The video which has garnered over 1.7M views shows a woman making ice cream using a container filled with ice. She ties the container with a rope, switches on the fan so that they movement of fan churns the ice cream.
