Anand Mahindra shares picture of Earth with a thought-provoking message

Every now and then business tycoon Anand Mahindra shares some inspirational and thought-provoking messages and posts on his Twitter handle, which has more than 9 million followers. Recently, the 67-year-old businessman reshared an intriguing picture of planet earth, with a powerful message.

Taking to Twitter, the industrialist re-shared a picture of Earth taken by NASA’s Curiosity rover from the surface of Mars with an impact message. "if there’s just one thing this photo should teach us….it’s humility," he shared.




Once again, Mahindra's post has grabbed the curiosity of his users and has already received more than 5,000 likes and 600 retweets.

The share has also received various comments from people. "Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and.." commented a twitter user. “Sir, you describe entire universe in just one sentence, that’s tiny dot shows what we are,” commented another. “We are just a small speck of dust in this entire universe!” wrote a third user.

"This amazing photo was actually taken from Mars. Yup, the planet Mars and that tiny star-like white dot there is our beloved Earth! NASA," the handle named Curiosity that posted the photo, wrote on Twitter.
