Anand Mahindra shares drone video of Vande Bharat passing underneath Bengaluru-Mysuru expressway

Anand Mahindra, Chairperson of Mahindra & Mahindra, has shared a drone video on Twitter of Vande Bharat Express train passing underneath the Bengaluru-Mysuru expressway. He described the video as a powerful visual that shows how global infrastructure can transform India.



In the drone video, the newly completed 10-lane Bengaluru-Mysuru expressway can be seen too with the road and rail connectivity intersecting each other. Some of the netizens applauded the video, and called the expressway beautiful. One of the users said that the expressway will improve productivity and reduce operational costs and quality public infrastructure serves the public for a long time.


Dr Sudhakar K, Karnataka Health Minister had also shared this video on February 9, on Twitter and captioned it as ‘Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway and Vande Bharata Express in one frame’. He further said in his post that the BJP government at the centre and Karnataka state had provided the next-generation infrastructure at an unprecedented scale and speed.

The 10-lane Bengaluru-Mysuru expressway is a part of the Greenfield Corridors project that started in March 2018. It has been completed and is going to be inaugurated by the end of February 2023. The expressway is a 117 km long stretch that will reduce the travelling time between Bengaluru and Mysuru to 75 minutes.
