Anand Mahindra praises Japanese people for values “worthy of a global audience”

Mahindra took to Twitter to praise the East Asians' spirit, sharing a video of Japanese fans picking up trash post the Qatar-Ecuador game on Sunday.

— anand mahindra (@anandmahindra) 1669136163000The person taking the video stated that, at first, he thought only one or two Japanese people were picking up trash. However, he said the Japanese people all over the stadium were doing the same thing, which blew him away.
The 2022 FIFA World Cup began on November 20, with the opening game between Ecuador and Qatar, which the host country lost by 2-0.
Japan plays its first game today against Germany, while Qatar will play next on Novemeber 25, against Senegal. Qatar currently finds itself at the bottom of Group A, with Netherlands and Ecuador sitting top.
