Anand Mahindra offers job to 13-year-old girl who used Amazon Alexa to scare off monkeys in Uttar Pradesh

In a widely circulated video, Nikita explained that the monkeys had gained entry into their home through an open gate as a result of some guests visiting. She shared, "Monkeys entered the kitchen and started throwing things here and there. The kid was scared and so did I but then I saw Alexa and asked it to play the sound of a dog. Because of that barking sound, the monkeys were scared and ran away," as reported by news agency ANI.
Mahindra Group chairman Anand Mahindra praised her actions, stating, "The story of this young girl provides comfort that technology will always be an enabler of human ingenuity."
Expressing hope that she might consider joining MahindraRise in the future Mahindra said, "Her quick thinking was extraordinary. What she demonstrated was the potential for leadership in an entirely unpredictable world. After she finishes her education, If she ever decides to work in the corporate world I hope we at @MahindraRise will be able to convince her to join us!!"
Nikita, expressing her happiness on Anand Mahindra's offer, mentioned her desire to work with him. Having just completed her class X exam, Nikita's father, Dhirendra Pandey, who runs a mobile repairing shop, expressed his surprise at the recognition his daughter and family received. Pankaj Ojha, Nikita's brother-in-law, revealed that the Alexa device was a gift from him two years ago, never anticipating it would lead to such an incident. Nikita's confidence shines through as she looks forward to her future career prospects.
Alexa, known as Amazon's cloud-based voice interactive assistant found in smart speakers, proved to be instrumental in the situation.
