Amitabh Bachchan may miss Sunday's appearance at Jalsa’s gate this week. See why

Amitabh Bachchan has numerous fans around the world. Several of these fans also flock outside his home, Jalsa in Juhu, Mumbai. To be able to connect with the fans, the veteran actor seems to have been making an appearance at the gate of his house, Jalsa, every Sunday evening. He looks to greet his fans and ensure they are not disappointed.

The fans gather outside the gates of Jalsa in huge numbers. They can be seen holding banners, ballons and gifts for the superstar.

But this week, Bachchan seems to be busy and may miss his Sunday appearance at Jalsa’s gate due to work commitments on May 7, the actor informed his fans through his blog.


In the blog, Amitabh Bachchan said, "The human speaks and thinks with speed now .. the expression and the brevity of the express .. the understanding by the other in no uncertain terms and conditions, that this is what it is .. take or leave .. and when they have left the environ of discuss you sit and wonder where we are all going (sic)..."

Big B added, "Going certainly not for the GATE at JALSA tomorrow, for .. there is work on location which can only be given permission for on a Sunday .. There shall be effort of course to return in time for the 5:45pm at Jalsa .. but there could be a delay or a non-appearance.. so a warning in advance to keep away (sic)..."

Amitabh Bachchan is currently filming for Nag Ashwin's film Project K. The actor also sustained an injury on its sets. Bachchan has also resumed work for Section 84, which has been written and directed by Ribhu Dasgupta. The movie also features Abhishek Banerjee, Nimrat Kaur and Diana Penty.
