Amitabh Bachchan's proposed dharamshala in Ayodhya
According to a PTI report, the proposed dharamshala will have more than 20 rooms and is being planned on land acquired by the actor for around Rs 15 crore as part of 'The Sarayu' project along Dashrath Path.The ADA has issued a public notice inviting objections to the submitted layout within 15 days. Following the completion of the process, the authority is expected to grant approval. Construction is likely to begin in October once the layout is cleared.
ADA Vice Chairman Anurag Jain said several prominent personalities from across the country are contributing to Ayodhya's development. He confirmed that Bachchan's application for the 20-plus room dharamshala has been received and is currently open for public feedback.
He added that the layout will be approved after the due process, with the facility aimed at providing better amenities to devotees visiting Ayodhya.

The show's first episode featured Aamir Khan, Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta, who appeared to promote their film 'Batwara 1947'.Bachchan's last theatrical release was 'Vettaiyan', in which he starred alongside Rajinikanth, followed by 'Kalki 2898 AD'.
The 83-year-old actor is set to return in 'Kalki 2898 AD: Part 2'. The film's female lead is yet to be announced following Deepika Padukone's exit from the project.
