Mumbai Police recently issued a gun licence to Salman Khan after he and his father Salim Khan received a series of death threats.
Police have also reportedly increased the security of the actor. Khan recently met with Mumbai Police Commissioner Vivek Phansalkar and Joint Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) Vishwas Nangre Patil.
This is not the first time the Bollywood actor received death threats. In 2018, the Lawrence Bishnoi gang threatened the actor when the blackbuck poaching case was underway, as the animal is revered by the Bishnoi community.
